First Ice on Cove

After a very warm December the temperature dropped to -14C last night and the ice has started to freeze.

Glenwood Cemetary

The Glenwood Cemetary is located on 62 acres in the centre of Picton. It was opened in 1873 when the population of the town was about 2360. Picton was incorporated in 1837. Prior to the opening of Glenwood residents were buried in smaller local cemetarys throught the County.
