Older House

There are a number of older houses in Picton that have unique archetectural features. I wonder who thought of adding this "turret".

There was an interesting cloudy sky this evening. We used to call them "lamb tails" but I think the proper designation is "alto cumulus".

About 7pm the sky turned a soft pink just before sunset.

The New Post Office

Residents of the town of Picton do not have home delivery so this is a busy place 5 days a week. This building opened a couple of years ago, it replaced a older building that was not large enough to handle today's needs.

The Armoury

The Armoury on Main street was built in 1913 just prior to the beginning of the first World War. It is now occupied by various businesses.
